終於，在滿心期待下五月十六號買到了賈維斯大叔的全新專輯《Further Complications》
真的是相當正點的一張專輯阿！每首都有著相當不同的味道，不過這其中，我特別想推薦
三首抒情歌
《Leftovers》
I met her in the Museum of Paleontology & I make no bones about it
I said "If you wish to study dinosaurs，I know a apesimen whose interest is undounbted."
Trapped in a body that is failing me，please allow me to be succinct :
I want to love you whilst we both still have flesh upon our bones - Before we both become extinct.
That's what i told her: "I want to be your lover"
& then i told her twice "I want to be your lover"
He says he loves you like a sister.
Well , I guess that's relative.
He says he want to make love to you.
But instead of "to" shoun't that be "with"
Well , i told you once "I want to be your lover"
& I told you twice , Homes: "I want to be your lover"
& so I come to you filled with guilt & self - loating
& I am Praying that you could make me good
& I fall upon your neck just like a vampire
Yeah ; a vampire who faints at the sight of blood.
Well , i told you once "I want to be your lover"
& then I told you twice , "I want to be your lover"
This is my C.V & I've got no - one else to blame ,
so I will state my case
Yes , I will state it again :
Come & help yourself to leftovers -
got a little surplus love & affection .
I'm getting cuddly ; so won't you cuddle me ?
I could be your bear.
I know I ain't no Eligible Bacjelor :
This is no mouth - watering propostion'
Make no mistake : you're in big tronble little lady
If we start a - huggin & a - kissin & a - kissin - Are you lestening?
Cos I told you once
& then I told you twice & now I've told three times
& , at the risk of repeating myself , I'm gonna say it again :
I want to be your lover
I want to be your lover...
歌詞大致是在敘說他在古生物博物館遇到了一個心儀的女生，他不斷地告訴女孩
“我想要成為你的愛人“
在聽到如此性感的大叔不斷重複地吶喊著
"I want to be your lover"我想沒有人不會被攻陷的！
《I never say I was deep》
《You're in my eyes (Discosong) 》
這則是一首與舊情人重逢的故事，他終究無法忘懷情人，在舞池裡再次重逢，用力共舞直到破曉。
You're in my eyes , You're in my face . Just like before , You went away.
You're in my arms , I feel your warmth ; And I'll dance , until the dawn.
Coz I don't want to lose you again .
